But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. - John 4:23 (ESV)
In my sermon yesterday, I stated that ministry exists for one ultimate purpose - to create true worshipers. True worship is found in Jesus Christ with the gospel as its focal point. Thus, every area of ministry that Cross Creek is engaged (youth, men's, women's, children, missions, church planting, etc.) is primarily for the transforming power of the gospel to create true worshipers. Ministry is not the ends but the means that the Lord uses to draw his people to himself.
