We believe that church should be a fun, safe, and loving environment where children encounter Jesus Christ. Our desire is to partner with families in laying a spiritual foundation on which their children can build their lives.
Our nursery is open starting 15 minutes before the worship services begin, for children ages 3 and below. We also have a cry room available in the rear of the auditorium (the door is in the children's wing around the corner from the restrooms).
Children older than nursery age will join you in the worship service. While your children are more than welcome to remain with you for the entire worship service, we also offer worship hour classes for Pre-K through 5th grade children. Those children who are going to class will be dismissed before the sermon begins (during the Greeting time). They will leave through the side door of the sanctuary, where the teachers will help lead them to their classrooms. Our curriculum for the worship hour is The Gospel Project for Kids.
Upon arrival, visit us at the Welcome Desk where we will gladly help register your children using Planning Center Check-Ins. A name label will be printed for each child that includes medical notes and your phone number. You, the parent, will be given a security label. When you come to pick up your child, the labels are matched up for a secure checkout.
We take your children's safety seriously and want you to know that they are in safe and capable hands. To this end, we require each of our volunteers to go through an application and interview process which includes a background check. For more information, you can read our Children's Ministry Policies & Procedures and Child Protection Manual.
